Continuing from Part 1 of this recently completed whole home renovation in Southwood Valley Neighborhood.

This home, built in the 1990s, needed many cosmetic, technical, and functional upgrades to make it a more enjoyable living space. In addition, our clients desired an interior that was more modern in style and designed for aging in place.

Aside from the kitchen renovation, another area that received a dramatic renovation was the primary bathroom!

In its existing state, the bathroom featured a large garden bathtub that the clients never used. Unfortunately, the bathroom also had awkward angled walls, carpet in most areas, dated fixtures, and very little storage space.

So we removed the bathtub entirely and used that area for cabinets with built-in laundry baskets, added counter space, and a small bench for dressing.

The shower remained the same size, but we gutted the inside to replace the wall and floor tile, installed a new shower bench topped with the same quartz as the countertops throughout the house, and a new shower tower with massaging jets for relaxation.

In addition, we tiled the shower with standard 3-inch by 6-inch white subway tile with white grout for a clean, simple, and timeless look.

Moving on to the guest bathroom renovations!

We replaced all the vanities in the two guest bathrooms, put in new sinks, light fixtures, and countertops, and re-tiled the showers with the same white subway tile used in the primary shower.

Moving into the formal living room, we added a new dry bar with pull-out shelves for added convenience and ease of use. One unique feature of the formal living room was the addition of gallery molding.

Most homeowners are looking for special features to make their homes stand out. Picture rail molding is a great way to add intrigue to any room. Whether you want to hang art or add a line of picture molding across the top of a room – It is a terrific way to add character to any space.

In the entryway and dining room, we installed two unique raindrop chandeliers to give the areas a stylish and glamorous touch.

Lastly, we repainted the whole house, including all walls, doors, cabinets, and trim. We also replaced all the ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout the house to make the space look more modern.
